LIVE INTERPRETER · BILLING
Refund and Cancellation Policy
This policy applies to future paid access for Run Up Studio Live Interpreter. The current browser beta may be offered without charge while billing is being completed.
1. Clear purchase terms
Before payment, the checkout page must show the total price, billing period, included usage or limits, trial terms if any, renewal behavior, taxes or additional charges where applicable, and the method for cancellation.
No paid plan is final until those details are displayed in the actual checkout flow.
2. Auto-renewing subscriptions
If a plan renews automatically, you authorize recurring charges at the disclosed interval until you cancel. You may cancel through the account or billing portal provided to you. Cancellation should be available through a method that is reasonably easy to find and use.
Unless the checkout page states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and stops future renewal charges.
3. Refund eligibility
Except where law requires otherwise, subscription payments are generally non-refundable after the paid period begins. We may approve a full or partial refund when:
- you were charged more than once for the same purchase;
- you were charged after a confirmed cancellation;
- a payment was unauthorized and promptly reported;
- a material service failure prevented meaningful use for a substantial portion of the paid period and no reasonable credit or extension was provided;
- the checkout description materially differed from the paid service; or
- applicable law requires a refund.
4. Translation quality is not a guaranteed outcome
Differences in accent, noise, device quality, provider availability, network conditions, language support, and AI output can affect performance. A refund is not automatically owed because an individual phrase was inaccurate, delayed, or interpreted differently than expected.
We will evaluate repeated or material technical failures using available service logs and the details supplied with the request.
5. Usage-based purchases
If one-time minutes, credits, or usage packages are offered, the checkout page will state their expiration, transferability, and refund rules. Used credits are normally not refundable unless required by law or linked to a verified service failure.
6. App-store purchases
Purchases made through Apple, Google, Microsoft, or another application marketplace may be subject to that store's billing, cancellation, and refund process. Where the store controls the transaction, refund requests may need to be submitted directly to the store.
7. Request process
Send requests to [email protected] with the account email, transaction date, amount, reason, and relevant screenshots or error details. Do not send full card numbers or account passwords.
Requests should normally be submitted within 14 days of the disputed charge or service failure. This request window does not reduce any longer right provided by applicable law.
8. Processing time
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. Banks and payment providers control the time required for funds to appear after a refund is issued.
9. Changes
We may update this policy for new plans, app stores, billing providers, or legal requirements. The terms displayed at checkout and the version in effect when you purchased will control unless a later change is more favorable or legally required.
Final prices, trial periods, included minutes, cancellation controls, tax treatment, and refund windows must be synchronized with the production checkout before billing is enabled.
